What To Do When Your Covers Get Wet
Although your leather covers are water-resistant, you still need to be careful with
exposing them to water.
If you get excess water on your covers, use a dry cloth, and
lightly dab any moisture that has pooled on the leather. Try your best to not rub it in
as this will just push more water into your covers. Afterwards, let your covers dry
naturally.
Do not use any type of heat source on your covers to dry them. This includes using a
blow dryer, leaving your leather covers on a heat vent, or leaving your covers outside
in direct sunlight.
Heat can cause even more damage than water and will leave your
covers with a dry cracked leather look.

How To Maintain Your Covers
It’s extremely important to condition your covers every 6 months to increase their
longevity. If you live in warmer, dry climates, you may need to condition them more
often. Be careful not to over condition as this can lead to your menu covers feeling
tacky or sticky.
If you’re in need of a leather conditioner, we recommend using MooBuzz, which is
made from beeswax and neatsfoot oil. The beeswax helps make your covers more
water-resistant, and the neatsfoot oil moisturizes and softens the leather.
Apply MooBuzz using your hands, or a clean, soft cloth. Once you apply the
balm and it has been absorbed into your covers, give them a quick buff with a dry
cloth.
